Meet Joshua

Hi, I’m Joshua Qalo—the hands and heart behind JQ Custom. Born and raised on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, I’ve called Fort Myers home for the past five years. During the hurricane recovery efforts, I was among the first restoration workers permitted to reach Sanibel Island by boat to assist with cleanup and rebuilding.

That experience showed me how much impact thoughtful craftsmanship can have in restoring and improving homes, and it inspired me to start JQ Custom. With a background in home remodeling and a strong passion for design and detail, I bring an island work ethic, creativity, and a friendly, down-to-earth approach to every project.
